…ok, ok.. no race report yet, as I’m hunkered down working on a to-be-announced-soon kinda project (or two).
Of course, life goes on, so I’ve been getting steady submissions for the galleries on cyclofiend.com. This one from Lane up at CETMA just really got me excited, so I’m going to give a little preview here:
Yep. A full-on cargo bike from the folks that have been brazing you up bombproof racks. According to Lane’s description, this is actually a prototype version. The final will be just a touch wider and longer.
The point that caught my eye was that the load rack portion of the bike is modular - it can be detatched for storage, transportation or for changing out the load bed. There are actually more photos on the CETMA website (though you gotta nav a bit - just click on the “Cargo” link.
